avoid clothing that covers your neck.

we recommend styling your hair away from the face so we can focus on your natural features during draping.

come with an open mind

the process can feel subtle and at times a little overwhelming to the eyes.

patience is encouraged as you take it all in.

you do not need to memorize everything during the session. all information will be provided for you to review afterward.

your best colors may not always be your favorite colors and that can take time to adjust to.

faqs

  • there are 4 color seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

each represents a distinct visual identity and framework.

our studio uses a system of 25 refined sub-tones within these seasons. these help further define levels of temperature, depth, and visual harmony for a more refined result.

you will be typed by both color season and sub-tone.

  • draping is a process where fabrics with different visual qualities are placed below your face under controlled lighting. as the colors reflect onto your skin, we observe how each tone influences your overall appearance and how naturally it blends with your features.

  • our studio is trained in korean color analysis methodology, which uses detailed visual draping as the primary tool for assessment.

while both korean and western systems use draping, western systems typically organize results into structured seasonal frameworks such as 12-season systems. korean methodologies place greater emphasis on refined sub-tone analysis and visual nuance within those results.

we combine both approaches, but prioritize draping-based evaluation to determine the most accurate result for each client.

  • your undertone is considered constant and does not change. because color season is based on undertone along with depth and contrast, your core season typically remains stable.

however, factors such as tanning or aging can influence how certain tones appear on the surface. while your overall classification remains consistent, the way colors present on your skin may vary over time. in these cases, your sub-tone may become different.

  • no. black is not universally flattering. its effect depends on undertone, contrast, and overall coloring. on some individuals it enhances definition, while on others it can appear overpowering. the most suitable neutrals vary by color season.

  • your results are based on visual analysis rather than personal preference. color theory is used to identify tones that naturally align with your undertone, depth, and contrast. the goal is to provide a clear reference for understanding which colors are most visually supportive.

you may still wear your favorite colors, but there is a structured way to use them so they sit more naturally with your features.

  • yes. this service is designed for anyone who wants to understand which colors best support their natural appearance.

it is inclusive of all ages, genders, and identities. no prior experience with color analysis is required.

  • yes. each analysis is based on your current natural coloring and results may differ depending on the method used.

if your previous color analysis did not feel accurate or aligned, a second perspective can be helpful.

please note that in-person color analysis offers the most accurate and personalized results compared to online methods.
